Catagories

Catagory A : Wild Art – Creative approach to photograph butterflies. This category also include closeup, macro, butterfly in Its habitat, various stages of metamorphosis of butterfly etc.

Category B : Documentation - Record images of rarely occurring butterflies can be submitted in this category.

 

How to Participate :

1. Submit maximum 3 images of butterflies per participant, per catagory.

2. Submit your images by email at bbmpc23@gmail.com

(Please submit a separate email for each category. If not, submitted images may be sorted into suitable category by the judges.)

3. Last date of submission 30/09/2023

4. Submission is free and open to all.

 

Rules :

1. All images must be shot within the state of Tripura.

2. Allowed formats : Jpg, Jpeg.

3. Minimum image dimensions should be 500 pixels in width / height without any border or watermark.

4. Only butterfly/ butterfly related images allowed for contest.

5. The image(s) must be shot in Tripura.

6. Any unethical means of photography should be avoided including handling / catching the subject.

7. Only basic postprocessing is allowed. Colour grading or any other tweak to modify natural colour representation is strictly prohibited.

8. Participants may be asked to submit raw or unedited jpeg image when necessary.

9. The decision of WTF judge panel will be regarded as final.

Prizes :

3 participants from each category will be awarded with e-certificate and nature/wildlife  books.
